What type of signs do you produce ?

We can supply just about anything within reason. With over 20 years experience, there’s very little that we haven’t been asked for.

We’ve installed 80ft. banners at the Royal Armouries, lettered helicopters at Leeds/Bradford airport, shipped fire evacuation signs to Virgin Airlines in Lagos,

Provided a A-board for the Woolpack on Emmerdale, and applied graphics to the lift doors at House of Fraser.

Don’t be embarrassed to ask, we’re probably daft enough to take it on !

How long would my sign take to manufacture ?

Under normal circumstances, around 7 working days. However, it all depends on the job in hand, and basically how busy we are.

That said, if you have a genuine deadline to meet, and you’ve been let down, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

How do I get a quotation ?

You can send your enquiry by email, or simply pick up the phone, and we’ll do our best to give you a price within 48hrs.

If you’re not quite sure what you want, we are happy to discuss your requirements, either by email or the telephone.

We can also (within reason) call out to your premises, to maybe get a better feel for the job.

Do you offer a design service ?

Our design team are experienced in Illustrator, Signlab, and Photoshop, we also have photographic facilities.

We’re more than happy to provide a basic sketch just to get the ball rolling, and then work with you until we have the finished article.

The first sketch is free, and the we charge £25 for every subsequent one (time wasters beware !).

What do you need in the way of artwork files ?

Initially, we like a .pdf file so we can all see the damn thing. For vinyl graphics, screen-printing, engraving, and CNC cut lettering, we require vectorised artwork such as Illustrator (.ai) (.eps), and in PC format please. For digital print the same rules apply, although any hi-res image will be suitable.

For some reason, schools always send me a sweatshirt with the badge sewn on as artwork. I can tell you that my kids were always the best dressed at school, even if they were wearing a different sweatshirt from all the others…………..

What areas do you cover ?

We mainly operate in the Yorkshire area (strangely enough), but regularly travel to Manchester, Birmingham, and London (and sometimes France).

The rule of thumb is, if it’s financially worthwhile, we’ll probably go there. However, I took a call on my mobile recently, from a nice gentleman who was converting a barn into a restaurant. He was wanting something quite architectural, and suggested that I call in next time I was passing. He was in East Sussex (and I wasn’t…..).

I need my signs installing, is that something you can offer ?

No problem, our fully equipped fitting team operate nationwide, and can ethically dispose of your old signs.

Can you advise with planning consent ?

Yes.

How do I order a sign ?

For new customers we usually ask for a 50% deposit, with payment on completion. For larger companies, an official order is acceptable.

What methods of payment do you accept ?

Cash (obviously…), cheques, BACS transfer, or for customers wanting to pay by credit card, we can send you a secure Paypal link.

Do you offer a guarantee ?

Very few sign companies actually do, but we offer a 12 month guarantee on all our work.
