RE:Work Office ethically sourced used and new office furniture

One thing that you notice first about Caroline Wherritt, is that everything she does is done properly. So we weren’t surprised when we received the draft artwork for Re:Work’s rebranding, it was brilliant. Second-hand office furniture isn’t that sexy, and when we’d produced signage in the past for Caroline, we’d been a bit restricted in that her colours and logo were very dated and tired. The new image was a real eye-opener, and focused heavily on the recycling aspect of the business. Using a vibrant lime green background, and an easy to read block font that was especially designed by the Morgan Agency, the colour contrast ensured that everyone would notice Re;Work’s new image.

Our first task was to completely strip and re-letter the large delivery vehicle, and the new layout involved a partial body-wrap. These can be tricky, as the vinyls have to be applied over rivets and recesses. Fotunately our vehicle graphics experts  Andy and Chris Varley were up to the job, and Caroline declared herself well pleased with the final result.

For the external signage, we decided on a Dibond tray sign with a nice chunky 100mm return, and at 5 mtrs in length the company name really jumps out at you. Internally, we produced several foamex door signs, and a very impressive corporate wall sign manufactured from 12mm clear acrylic, with reverse-lettered graphics, mounted to the wall via 20mm satin spacers.
The warehouse signs were made so that they were easy to read, and to clearly indicate the different types of products available. The new colours really bring the warehouse interior to life.

This project was handled from start to finish by Production manager Jon Grant, and as I was away on holiday, I was keen to see the finished results on my return. Caroline had organised a re-launch party, so Jon and myself took time out to have food and beer at someone else’s expense. Although I wasn’t surprised at the overall effect, it was nice to hear so many people being complimentary about Caroline’s new image. The food was also a hit, as I sampled some steak & ale pie with mushy peas, followed up with a bottle of Kronenberg           (just to be sociable, you understand….)
